How to Connect AlpacaRelay to WordPress
Create Your Free AlpacaRelay Account
Visit alpacarelay.com and sign up for a free account. No credit card required. You'll receive instant access to the dashboard, Settings menu, and Integration Hub. Your account is live in under 60 seconds. This step establishes your branded IP profile and activates your Email Quality Score (EQS) framework, which will assess every email you create before deployment.
Generate Your WordPress API Key
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard. Navigate to Settings > AlpacaRelay or install the official AlpacaRelay plugin from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Once activated, go to the plugin settings and click Generate API Key. Copy the key (you'll need it in the next step). This key allows AlpacaRelay to read your WordPress contact lists, posts, and user metadata without modifying your site. The connection is read-only by default, protecting your existing content.
Authorize the Connection in AlpacaRelay
