2 minutesStart by signing up for AlpacaRelay at no cost — no credit card required. Visit the AlpacaRelay homepage and click Sign Up. Enter your email, create a password, and verify your email address. Once verified, you'll land in your AlpacaRelay dashboard. At this stage, you're establishing your account identity and setting up the foundation for integrations. This step takes less than 2 minutes and ensures you have a dedicated workspace to manage all your email campaigns and integrations.
Navigate to Integrations and Select Google Analytics
1 minuteFrom your AlpacaRelay dashboard, go to Settings in the left sidebar, then click Integrations. You'll see a list of available platform integrations. Locate Google Analytics and click Connect. AlpacaRelay will display the OAuth authorization screen. This screen explains what permissions AlpacaRelay needs to access your Google Analytics data: read-only access to your Google Analytics properties, view IDs, and event data. You're not granting write access — AlpacaRelay only imports data to inform email targeting and personalization, not to modify your analytics configuration.
Authorize Google Analytics OAuth and Map Your Data
3 minutesClick Authorize on the OAuth screen. You'll be redirected to Google's login. Sign in with the Google account that owns or has admin access to your Google Analytics property. Google will ask you to confirm that you want to allow AlpacaRelay to access your Analytics data. Click Allow. You'll be redirected back to AlpacaRelay, where you'll see a data mapping screen. Here, you select which Google Analytics property and view you want to connect. For health and wellness businesses, you typically want to map event data like workout completions, class registrations, appointment bookings, or content downloads. Select your primary property and view, then click Confirm. Data syncing begins immediately via real-time webhook integration — no batch delays.
Create Your First Quality-Scored Email Campaign
10-15 minutesOnce your Google Analytics property is connected, return to the Campaigns section in AlpacaRelay. Click New Campaign and select Email. Choose a template or start blank. AlpacaRelay's AI will now populate available audience segments based on your Google Analytics data — for example, users who have viewed your blog posts, registered for a class, abandoned a booking, or completed a purchase. Select your target segment (e.g., users who visited your wellness blog but haven't booked a class in 30 days). Compose your email subject line, body, and call-to-action. Your campaign receives a quality score out of 10.
Review Your EQS Score and Activate Quality-Scored Sending
2-3 minutesBefore sending, review your Email Quality Score (EQS) on the campaign preview screen. If your score is 8 or above, you're ready to send — campaigns at this threshold deliver 14-18% higher engagement for health and wellness segments compared to industry average. If your score is below 8, AlpacaRelay highlights the specific dimensions that need improvement (e.g., mobile rendering, personalization depth, CTA clarity). Make those adjustments — the system recalculates your EQS in real time. Once satisfied, click Send or Schedule. Your email is now quality-scored and live. Every recipient interaction (opens, clicks, conversions) is tracked against your Google Analytics property, creating a closed-loop feedback system for future campaigns.
