Create Your AlpacaRelay Account
Visit alpacarelay.com and sign up for a free account. No credit card required. You will receive immediate access to the dashboard and the integrations library. AlpacaRelay accounts are fully functional from day one—you can begin building email campaigns and connecting data sources without any setup fees or trial limitations.
Navigate to Stripe Integration Settings
Log into your AlpacaRelay dashboard. Go to Settings > Integrations > Payment Platforms > Stripe. Click the 'Connect Stripe Account' button. You will be prompted to authorize AlpacaRelay to access your Stripe data. This is a one-click OAuth connection—no manual API key copying required. AlpacaRelay requests read-only access to customers, charges, invoices, and subscription data. You retain full control and can disconnect at any time from your Stripe dashboard.
Authorize and Map Data Fields
After OAuth approval, AlpacaRelay immediately begins syncing your Stripe data. You will see a data mapping interface showing which Stripe fields populate which email template variables. Standard fields sync automatically: customer email, subscription status, invoice amount, renewal date, payment method on file, and failed payment reason. Create Your First Quality-Scored Email Campaign
From the Campaigns tab, select 'Create New Campaign' and choose a template or start from blank. Link your Stripe data source. Build your first email—for example, a failed payment recovery message or subscription renewal reminder. Use dynamic content blocks to insert customer name, invoice amount, renewal date, and subscription plan. AlpacaRelay's AI fills in subject lines, preview text, and call-to-action copy suggestions as you build. Preview the email across devices and email clients to verify rendering. Activate Email Quality Scoring and Go Live
Before sending, your email is automatically scored against the 8-Dimension Email Quality Framework (EQF). The Email Quality Score (EQS) appears in the campaign review screen, showing your email's performance across deliverability compliance, mobile rendering, CTA clarity, personalization depth, visual hierarchy, copy effectiveness, brand consistency, and structural compliance. Emails scoring 7/10 or higher are flagged as ready to send. If your score is lower, AlpacaRelay highlights which dimensions need improvement (e.g., 'CTA is too generic' or 'Mobile rendering issues detected'). Once you approve, click Send or Schedule. Your campaign is now live and synced to Stripe—new failed payments or upcoming renewals automatically trigger your email to qualifying customers. Performance data flows back into your AlpacaRelay dashboard in real-time.
